She's a safe place,
A place to call home.
Our second child arrived in the early morning, and a day early from her projected due date. She was a quick delivery with a three hour labor, arriving approximately fifteen minutes after our midwife, Ginger Young, showed up to the house. Although this is our second child using a midwife, this was our first birth at our home. Our first birth took place at the Birth Inn in Wichita, KS with Kathy Brace. Miraculously her big sister slept through all the commotion. It was such a site to see when she got to meet her little sister for the first time!
Thank you for all your thoughts and prayers for us during this time. This experience has been a great joy and a blessing to our family!
